Mr. J. Emile Ferdinand, Chairman, Council of Legal
Education announced at the Presentation of Graduates on Saturday, September 30,
2006 that the law firms of Keithley Lake & Associates and Daniel Brantley
& Associates have jointly funded a scholarship in their names at the Norman Manley
Law School.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to
two second year students, one from Jamaica
and one from the Eastern Caribbean based on
scholastic ability and economic need.
Applications are now open at the Law School. Chairman Ferdinand noted that this is the
first time that former graduates of the Norman
Manley Law
School from the OECS sub region had
established a scholarship at the Law
School. Mr. Keithley F.T. Lake and Mr. Mark A.G.
Brantley were in attendance at the graduation ceremony.
